LG Building & Concrete Review

L&G Building & Concrete complaints and reviews from other customers

These are other people’s accounts, posted publicly under their own names. I have summarized them in my own words, placed L&G’s reply beside each one, and linked the originals so you can read both sides in full.

I do not know these customers and cannot verify what they wrote. BBB states that it does not verify the accuracy of information provided by third parties. Read these as allegations. Where L&G answered, its answer is given equal space.

☆☆☆☆

  • The reviewer wrote that he was promised a finished shed within 60 days of receiving his county permit and that, close to 100 days in, only the concrete pad existed.
  • He alleged he was given repeated excuses when he asked for a start date and that the office had begun screening his calls.
L&G’s reply, December 19, 2025

L&G replied that the project was completed in full, including the shed, and that the delays came from permitting timelines, weather and scheduling. It said the job was never abandoned and called the claim that only concrete was completed incorrect.

☆☆☆☆

  • The reviewer said L&G installed her buildings as a subcontractor for another company, and alleged it demanded $1,500 for a lift rental even though her contract listed the lift at $0.
  • She alleged that when she withheld that amount at the end, the crew parked a work truck across her driveway and would not move until she paid.
  • She also alleged damage to her driveway, gaps under the ridge cap, and a slab left stained with mud and tire marks.
L&G’s reply, November 18, 2025

L&G replied that as a subcontractor much of the pricing and paperwork came from the main contractor, that it requested nothing beyond what had been discussed, and that its workers stayed on site only to sort out payment and never blocked or threatened anyone. It said the ridge cap met the manufacturer’s guidelines, that the slab condition was typical of construction, and that it would review proof of any damage.

  • The reviewer alleged L&G asked for payment before the crew arrived although his contract said payment was due on arrival.
  • He alleged the crew came to dig footers without the right equipment, so he rented it himself that day, and that a gravel truck damaged his driveway.
  • He alleged that on pour day he was asked for more money because the concrete truck could not use his driveway, despite a site visit weeks earlier.

  • A five-star review. The reviewer praised the finished job, called the crew hard-working and said the company was a pleasure to deal with.

BBB complaint

  • A BBB complainant who hired L&G for concrete and a metal building alleged paying more than $26,000 up front, then receiving concrete that cracked, chipped and peeled, a frame that arrived bent and was welded on site, and panels that did not match in color.
L&G’s reply

L&G replied that upfront payment is its standard practice and is set out in the contract, that concrete carries no warranty because of the nature of the material, and that it had nonetheless agreed to repair the concrete but the customer kept withholding final payment and changing the terms.

Yelp

Mixed. Includes a detailed positive account of a 30×40 building put up in one day, and negative accounts alleging long delays, leaks and poor communication.

What I take from these, and what I do not

A handful of reviews cannot tell you how a company treats most of its customers. L&G has been operating since 2017 and has presumably put up a lot of buildings. People with a bad experience are more likely to write about it than people with a good one.

What struck me, reading them after my own job went wrong, was how familiar some of the subjects were: money wanted before work, equipment the customer ended up supplying, a lift listed at $0 that one reviewer says later became a charge, cracked concrete answered with “no warranty,” long stretches without a date. Those are the same subjects my own records deal with. That is my observation and you may weigh it differently.

If you were an L&G customer, good experience or bad, the most useful thing you can do is post your own review where you hired them and, if you have a dispute, use the channels on the complaint guide.
