I have not confirmed the ownership of either company through Secretary of State filings yet, so I am not describing anyone’s role beyond what BBB itself lists.

• Case NC-2025-0015-US1895, closed November 15, 2024, citing 49 CFR 385.325(c), with a settlement amount of $5,180.

This is a trucking-registration matter about the company’s commercial vehicles. It says nothing about concrete or building workmanship, and I am not suggesting it does. I include it because it is a public enforcement record under the company’s name.

• The docket shows it arrived in federal court on August 15, 2025 and is categorized as a motor-vehicle personal-injury case.
• Defendants shown on the docket are Carolina Concrete & Custom Carports, LLC; L&G Building and Concrete, LLC; and an individual driver.

A lawsuit is a set of allegations. A docket entry is not a finding that anyone did anything wrong, and this case has nothing to do with building quality.

A 2021 Guilford County permit listing “Owner Contractor”

• An October 2021 Guilford County permit report includes an application named “L & G Building and Concrete” for a detached garage or storage building valued at $66,945.
• The contractor field on that permit reads “Owner Contractor.”

One permit proves nothing about anyone’s licensing and does not show wrongdoing. I note it because my own project was also permitted with me, the owner, holding the permit, and I am looking at how common that is.
